Description

The Honda GB4000HL is a compact dual-fuel generator built in the UK by GearGB, running on either LPG/propane or petrol. At 41 kg it is genuinely portable, making it a practical option for a single catering trailer, a market stall, a gazebo pitch or backup power on a small site.

Power comes from a Honda GX200 196cc engine driving a fixed-speed alternator, giving 2,600W continuously with 3,000W available on peak (3.75 kVA), at 230V or 115V single phase.

Running on propane means no petrol to carry or store, no stale fuel between jobs, and the same gas bottles the kitchen already uses. Switch to petrol whenever gas is not to hand. Noise is 71 dBA measured at 7 metres.

Please note before ordering

• Recoil (pull cord) start — there is no electric start on this model.
• AVR (automatic voltage regulation) is a build option — add it above if you are powering tills, card machines or other sensitive electronics. Allow approximately 3–4 working days from order when AVR is specified; without it this is a stock item.
• Supplied with the LPG regulator and hose. The gas cylinder is not included.
• If you need more than 2,600W continuous, talk to us — this model will not cover a full kitchen.
