LPG Generator 12kVA GB12000VL AS Auto-Start Vanguard

Description

The GB12000VL AS is GearGB’s auto-start LPG generator, designed and built in the UK. It runs entirely on propane — standard bottles or a sited tank — and is made to start and stop itself, so it can sit behind an inverter or AMF panel and pick up the load the moment mains power drops.

Power comes from a B&S Vanguard 23HP V-twin gaseous engine driving a fixed-speed AVR alternator, giving 9,000W continuous and 9,600W peak at 230V single phase. Automatic Voltage Regulation keeps the output clean enough for tills, fridges, coffee machines and other sensitive electronics.

Control is via a Deep Sea DSE3110 remote 2-wire start panel. It can be run manually or left in Automatic Start Mode, and its back-lit LCD shows engine speed, hours run, generator voltage and frequency. The unit shuts down automatically on under or over frequency, high or low voltage, and over-temperature.

Running on LPG rather than diesel means no fuel spillage, far less noise at 71 dBA, and emissions clean enough for emission-sensitive sites — which is why it suits event catering, festival pitches and off-grid kitchens that already keep propane on site.
