The Infernus Essentials EG-822 is a 73cm electric griddle with a split plate: two-thirds smooth for eggs, bacon, pancakes and onions, and one-third ribbed for steaks, burgers, halloumi and chicken that need proper grill marks. The ribbed section also lets excess fat run away from the food.
Two independently controlled 2.2kW zones (4.4kW total), each with its own thermostat and indicator lights, let you run the ribbed and smooth sections at different temperatures. That makes it genuinely flexible for a mixed menu from a single piece of equipment.
The body is stainless steel with a front grease channel and pull-out drawer. Being part of the Essentials range, it is designed to give restaurants, cafés and takeaways dependable, versatile performance at a sensible price.
