Description
The Infernus twin tank gas fryer gives you two separate 17L tanks on one countertop, so chips can stay apart from fish or chicken. With two baskets in each tank, it suits busy takeaways, fish and chip shops, restaurants and high-volume catering trailers.
Each tank has its own burner, thermostat and drain valve, so you can run one on a quiet shift or both at different temperatures from 160 to 220°C. The combined 11.1kW output keeps up with demand, pilot ignition keeps it simple to light, and flame failure devices shut off the gas if a flame goes out.
This model runs on LPG only and must be installed by a Gas Safe registered engineer.

Frequently asked questions
Can I fry different foods at different temperatures?
Yes. The two tanks are independent, each with its own burner, thermostat and drain valve, and each thermostat runs from 160 to 220°C. You can keep chips and fish in separate oil, or light only one tank on a quiet shift.
Should I choose this or the single tank?
Choose this twin tank if you fry more than one type of food or need more output: 11.1kW against 5.55kW. It needs 980mm of counter width. The single tank model is 505mm wide and suits a smaller menu.
Can this fryer run on natural gas?
No. This model is for LPG only and must not be connected to natural gas. If your site is on natural gas, call us on 01923 559 077 before you order.
What gas pressure and regulator does it need?
It is rated at 28 mbar (2800Pa), so it needs a regulator to match. The standard 37 mbar propane regulator used on some other fryers is not interchangeable. Your Gas Safe engineer should confirm the regulator when commissioning.
Who can install it?
It must be installed by a Gas Safe registered engineer. We supply the fryer only, so book your own engineer before it arrives.
How do I light it?
Open the gas supply and turn the thermostat off. Push in the pilot valve knob and light the pilot, hold the knob for about 60 seconds, then release it and turn it to ON. Set the thermostat, and the main burner lights. If the pilot goes out, wait 5 minutes before you try again. Our LPG fryer set-up guide covers this step by step.
How do I empty and clean it?
Each tank has its own front drain valve. Let the oil cool to a safe temperature first, then drain it into a suitable container. Oil that is too cold can stop draining, so do not leave it to set. Before first use, wash the tank with hot soapy water to remove the protective factory oil. See our guide to cleaning a fryer and changing the oil.
What warranty does it have?
12 months parts. Labour is not included.
