Why bean to cup suits a forecourt

  • Self-service: a large 10.1″ touchscreen with 30+ drinks on the JL37 and JL38. Customers choose, the machine does the rest.
  • Fresh beans, not instant: every cup is ground to order, which is what makes customers come back for a second one.
  • The same drink every time: whoever is on shift, the coffee tastes the same.
  • Small footprint: 312mm wide, so it fits on the end of a counter or in a dedicated coffee point.
  • Built for busy days: dual pumps and a larger commercial brewer for back-to-back drinks, up to 200 cups a day.
  • Low effort: automatic cleaning programmes, and a few minutes a day to refill and empty.

Which machine for a petrol station or shop?

Unattended or self-service: JL37C or JL38C

Powdered milk, so there is no fresh milk to keep chilled, plus two powder canisters for hot chocolate. Our first choice for most forecourts. The JL38C adds a second grinder, so you can offer a decaf or a second blend.

Real milk drinks: JL37B or JL38B

Fresh milk, hot and cold, for the best lattes and iced drinks. The milk fridge is included; you need staff to keep it filled and cleaned each day.

Smaller shop, up to 75 cups: JL31B

A compact 300mm-wide fresh-milk machine with a 10.1″ touchscreen designed for self-service. It brews and froths at the same time, so drinks come out quickly.

How many cups a day?

Size the machine on your busiest day, not your average one: a sunny Friday or a bank holiday weekend. If you expect up to 75 drinks a day, the JL31B will cope. Above that, or if you want room to grow, choose a JL37 or JL38, built for up to 200 cups a day. A useful number for planning stock: at around 10g of beans a shot, 1kg of beans makes about 100 single-shot drinks.

Setting up a coffee point

  • Counter: a stable, level counter at a comfortable height for customers to reach the screen and cup area.
  • Water and power: a mains water connection is best for a busy self-service point. A standard single-phase electrical supply nearby (3.1kW on the JL37 and JL38).
  • Cups and extras: space beside the machine for cups, lids, sugar, stirrers and a bin.
  • Daily routine: top up beans and powder, empty the grounds bin and drip tray, and run the cleaning programme. On fresh-milk models, refill and clean the milk system.
  • Water treatment: recommended to protect the machine from limescale. Add a unit when you order, or use your own. Why it matters.

Questions we are often asked

Can customers use the coffee machine themselves?

Yes. Customers pick a drink on the large touchscreen and the machine grinds the beans, brews and adds the milk automatically. There is nothing to learn, and every drink comes out the same.

Fresh milk or powdered milk for a petrol station?

For most forecourts we suggest powdered milk (the Jetinno JL37C or Jetinno JL38C): there is no fresh milk to keep chilled or run out of, and the two powder canisters add hot chocolate. If your staff can keep a milk fridge filled and cleaned, the fresh-milk Jetinno JL37B or Jetinno JL38B make richer milk drinks, and the milk fridge is included.

How many cups a day can a forecourt coffee machine make?

The JL37 and JL38 are built for up to 200 cups a day, with dual pumps and a larger commercial brewer for back-to-back drinks. A smaller shop serving up to 75 cups a day can use the JL31B.

Does the machine need a water supply?

For a busy self-service point we recommend a mains water connection, so the machine never runs dry. The JL37 and JL38 also take an optional 8-litre tank. Power is a standard single-phase supply (3.1kW on the JL37 and JL38), with no gas or three-phase needed.

How much counter space does it need?

The JL37 and JL38 are 312mm wide, 608mm deep and 670mm high. Allow space beside it for cups, lids and stirrers, room for the milk fridge if you choose fresh milk, and clearance above to refill the beans.

Is installation included?

Yes. Qualified engineers install, program and commission the machine and show your staff how to fill and clean it. It comes with a 12-month on-site parts and labour warranty.

How much daily cleaning does it need?

Very little. The brewer and milk system clean themselves on automatic programmes at the press of a button. Staff empty the grounds bin, top up beans and powder, and wipe the drip tray, which takes a few minutes a day.
