The Infernus INF-ES2000 is a compact countertop electric salamander grill for kitchens that need a finishing tool but do not have the space or the gas supply for a wall-mounted unit. It is well suited to cafés, takeaways, sandwich bars, food trucks and hotel kitchens.
The 2kW element brings the grill up to heat quickly and holds it, which makes it genuinely useful for melting cheese, browning gratins, toasting ciabatta and finishing dishes to order rather than just keeping food warm. Rack supports on both sides let you set the shelf at the height the job needs, and a 15-minute timer with an audible bell means you can walk away from a toasting batch without losing it.
The body is stainless steel with a removable crumb tray, a cool-touch Bakelite handle and non-slip feet. It arrives fitted with a 13A plug, so it is ready to use straight out of the box.
