4 Burner LPG Gas Griddle with Side Tables: Full Review and Specs
Last updated: August 2026
Four burners, a 91 by 50cm plate and legs that fold. That combination is why this griddle turns up at so many outdoor pitches: it cooks like a fixed unit and packs into an estate car. Here is what it does well, what it weighs, and what you need to run it safely.
What you get
- Cooking area: 91cm x 50cm
- Plate: 3mm stainless steel
- Burners: four, each controlled separately, with piezo ignition
- Safety: flame failure device on every burner, CE approved
- Dimensions with side tables out: 162cm wide, 56cm deep, 90cm high
- Weight: 37kg net, 48kg boxed
- In the box: 37mbar regulator, hose, aluminium drip tray, folding side tables
The regulator and hose being included matters more than it sounds. Buying those separately usually means a second delivery and a guess at the fitting.
The plate, and what it will actually cook
Three millimetres of stainless steel is the useful number here. Thin plates spike and drop as food hits them; 3mm holds its heat, so the twelfth burger cooks like the first.
At 91 by 50cm you have room for roughly 20 burgers, or a breakfast run of bacon, eggs and sausage with the four zones set differently. Four independent burners is the part that makes that work – one corner idling for holding, the rest up at service heat.
The plate lifts out for cleaning, and there is a drip tray with a drainage hole underneath.
Gas, regulators and safety
This runs on propane. Use propane for outdoor catering year round – butane stops vaporising near freezing, which is exactly when you least want a burner to fade.
The 37mbar regulator supplied is the correct one for propane in the UK. Each burner carries a flame failure device, so if a burner blows out the gas shuts off rather than filling the space underneath the plate.
Whatever you are cooking on, the annual gas safety check on your unit still applies, and your insurer will ask for it.
Moving it and storing it
The legs and the side tables both fold. Set up is a screw-together job that takes minutes rather than an afternoon.
Be honest about the 37kg though. It is a two-person lift into a van, or a one-person lift with a ramp and a trolley. It is not something you swing up over a tailgate on your own at 5am.
Cleaning and seasoning
A stainless plate wants scraping while it is still warm, then a wipe. Left to cool with residue on it, you are into scouring, and scouring is how plates end up pitted.
We have a full method, including how to season the plate so food releases cleanly, in our guide to cleaning and seasoning a commercial LPG griddle.
Common questions
Can it run off a standard patio gas bottle?
Yes, on propane with the 37mbar regulator supplied. Check the connection on your bottle matches before your first service.
Is it suitable for indoor use?
No. It is built for outdoor catering and needs proper ventilation.
How long does it take to get up to heat?
A few minutes for the plate to even out. Light it before you start prep rather than when the first customer arrives.
Do the side tables take weight?
They are designed for plating and prep, not for stacking heavy boxes. Treat them as work space.
Is it the right griddle for you?
If you cook volume outdoors and need to pack down at the end of the day, this is the sensible middle of the range. Bigger plates exist, and they stay where you put them.
