The Infernus INF-ES4000L is the heavy-duty salamander in the Infernus electric range, built for kitchens that use the grill as a working cooking station rather than an occasional finisher. It suits restaurants, busy cafés and catering trailers doing steaks, gratins, kebabs and loaded dishes to order.
The adjustable rise-and-fall top is what sets it apart: you drop the heat source down close for an aggressive sear or lift it away to finish gently, which gives you far more control than a fixed-height grill. A 4kW element and a 50-300°C thermostatic range mean it has the power to hold that control under load.
Construction is stainless steel throughout, with a durable stainless heating element, a stainless steel drop plate, a grease drip tray, a cool-touch Bakelite handle and anti-slip rubber feet. It runs from a standard 13A plug.
