LPG Generator 12.5kVA GCE12000VL Electric Start Vanguard

Description

The Vanguard GCE12000VL is GearGB’s 12.5 kVA electric-start LPG generator, designed and built in the UK. It runs on propane only — standard bottles or a sited tank — and delivers 9,000W continuously with 10,000W available on peak, at 230V single phase.

Power comes from a B&S Vanguard 23HP V-twin air-cooled gaseous engine at a fixed 3,000rpm, housed in a powder-coated tubular steel frame that gives top and side protection and keeps vibration and noise down. At 71 dBA measured at 7 metres it is quiet enough to run near a serving area.

Running on LPG rather than diesel means no fuel spillage, no red-diesel paperwork and emissions clean enough for emission-sensitive sites — which is why it suits event catering, festival pitches and off-grid setups that already keep propane on site.

Standard socket configuration is 1 x 32A 230V plus 2 x 16A 230V. Alternative configurations and other options are available to order — see below.

Options — please ask before ordering

• AVR (Automatic Voltage Regulation) — not fitted as standard. Specify it if you are powering tills, card machines or other sensitive electronics.
• Wheel kit — shown in the product images but supplied as an option.
• Alternative sockets — 115V (2 x 32A) only, or 230V (1 x 63A) only, in place of the standard configuration.
• LPG bottle holder — shown in the images, supplied as an option.
