WARRANTY POLICY
The manufacturer’s warranty is only valid in the UK mainland. Northern Ireland, Western Isles, Inner Hebrides, and Islands are parts only warranty.
Warranty is invalid if your equipment has not been installed in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. Misuse, alteration, or unauthorised repairs of the equipment will also invalidate the warranty. All gas equipment designated for mobile catering must be installed by a Gas Safe Registered and qualified Commercial Mobile Catering (CMC) engineer. All parts must be fitted by the same. A suitable gas safety certificate should be presented on request (CP44) If your catering business operates LPG (bottled gas) equipment in a mobile vehicle or outside location, you will require an annual CP44 gas safety certificate by law.
Parts Warranty.
If a unit is still under warranty, parts are provided free of charge providing the old parts are sent back for investigation for the first 12 months (or chargeable). For this to be valid a registered certified engineer report is required clearly describing the part(s) that are needed. On the basis that this has been provided, we will send the part out.
If no report is provided the parts may still be sent, but at cost. Appliances that have been installed in mobile vehicles, mobile catering, outside catering are covered by parts only warranty for 12 months. If you arrange to have an engineer diagnose the issue and confirm which parts are required, then we will despatch these for you, free of charge, under warranty. A suitable gas safety certificate should be presented by request to provide proof of install for all work, maintenance, repairs. B2B warranty, where stated, the appliance must be sent back to base at customer cost. The supplier will send unit back with cost paid
Not covered under Warranty
- Fault due to incorrect installation, poor maintenance or equipment abuse.
- Equipment not maintained, clean and fit for use, or covered in food debris.
- Resetting of equipment or circuit breakers.
- Faulty electrics – e.g. a customer’s plug socket, plug wiring, junction box fault, wrong fuse.
- Foil used on racks, blockages and lime scale issues. Consumable items such as lamp fittings, bulbs and door seals.
- Accidental damage (including glass and ceramic tops).
- Excessive carbon build-up on griddle plates or overuse of lava rock on chargrills
- Any gas equipment for mobile/outside catering not fitted by gas safe qualified engineer, self installs are not covered.
All of the above points are not covered by warranty.

Machines are fully tested on both electric and gas – QC signs the sheets off to say all PASSED – then unit is shipped. Machines should be installed by qualified engineer to ensure the machine is set-up correctly. From here if there is an issue on setup, the technical team can liaise with the engineer on site to resolve the issue.
Self-install is not recommended, since this can lead to issues and an unverified installation, which then requires an engineer call out. Please when contacting MobCater re machines issues, supply the install engineer details and we can request Fracino technical team to speak to the engineer. Otherwise we can at cost, arrange for an engineer to make a site visit, since all Gas units are parts only warranty
The warranty only applies if the equipment has been used in a professional manner following the manufacturer’s instructions and maintenance guidelines. The warranty covers defects in the material and component failure only. We are not liable for trading loss, loss of perishable items, water damage or loss due to injury or fire damage.
